Hi there, I was just wondering if anyone could answer my question. I have two old vga monitors and would like to dual screen but my motherboard only has 1 vga port. Also I don't want simply two screens showing the same image but two separate ones so I can drag and drop etc. There is also a hdmi and a DVI-d port so would I be able to dual screen if I bought a hdmi to vga adapter like this:

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Premium-HDMI-Cable-Gold-Metre/dp/B000GDI6FC/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1348950269&sr=8-1

The reason I'm asking about hdmi to vga is that they seem to be cheaper and more easily available than vga to dvi-d adapters.

My specs:
CPU: Intel 2120
Mobo: MSI B75A-G43
RAM: 8GB Corsair Vengeance LP
(No GPU)

Thanks for your help!

James.

You "should" be able too, provided your motherboard will support multiple outputs. Most of them do, if they offer several outputs on the board.

Windows 7 handles multiple displays without issues, so aside from the physical aspect of connections, it should not be hard to accomplish what you want.
