I have a D-Link DWL 520+ on my motherboard I can't get the wireless adapter to gain the IP address. I have tried to reboot and uninstall and reinstall, and repair. I have tried the hardware manager and several drivers from around the world (all being the same).
Again the adapter can see the internet and connect with my router but it will not pickup the IP address. How do I get the wireless adapter to see the IP address?

If you connect to the router and can go on the internet, that network adapter must have gotten an IP address.

If you do an ipconfig /all command, what shows up?
