I have my dell insprion 1545 latpop and its not all that bad, the only bad thing is the 64mb intel garphics that sucks! I have a pci express slot and i was wondering if there is a mini graphics card that i could use to boost the grphics performance a little bit. I heard there was a mini ATI card...Will this work? and is this true?

yes and no - there's a new product that's on the verge of being release for purchase that essentially allows you to connect an external video card to any device

but I wouldn't hold my breath for it

I suggest you buy a new laptop with better GPU specs so it doesn't become obsolete in 3 years

I myself have an XPS M1530 that I bought in 2007 and it's still going strong

That's not a vidock, that's a vision tech regular graphics card.
You'd need to buy it here: http://www.villageinstruments.com/tiki-index.php?page=Store
And then buy an external graphcis card. I bought the 4 and the 5770 back in the day for a total of 450 dollars I think, although it is probably cheaper with the 3 and like a 6670/7750 low profile card.
