The title says it all - when I enable crossfire, the graphics look worse and fps go down... I haven't run furmark yet but it is noticeably worse. Here is my setup;
(2) ATI 5870 4gb Eyefinity 6 Edition X'fired w. Zalman VF3000A coolers
ASUS m5A99FX Pro R2.0 Mobo (http://www.asus.com/Motherboards/AMD_AM3Plus/M5A99FX_PRO_R20/#specifications)
AMD FX 8150 @4.8GHZ w. Corsair H80
Corsair Vengeance 4x4GB
Corsair Force GT 120GB
WD 1TB Caviar Blue
Corsair GS800 PSU
Antec 1200
Windows 7 Pro
My mobo has "2 x PCIe 2.0 x16 (dual x16)" and the cards are in those spots... the blue PCIe slots to be specific which the manual suggests you use for xfire. Also, I tried the xfire bridge in both spots to see if that made any difference, but nothing as I expected. I'm not sure what I did wrong but any help is much appreciated. Thanks!
