I've assembled my PC a few weeks ago, and have been playing a lot of minecraft on singleplayer. I would normally play minecraft with the performance set to 'balanced', because setting the performance to Max FPS would result in an annoying high pitch sound, (I presume coming from the graphics card).
My framerate would be locked at 125FPS on balanced performance, and when playing single player, would not fluctuate.
A few days ago I was searching through the BIOS, seeking to enabled Lucid Virtu MVP, so my iGPU could handle graphics needed for the dekstop, while my discrete graphics card would handle the graphics for any games. After finally enabling Lucid Virtu MVP, I carried on playing minecraft with this same, stable framerate.
After booting up my PC today, I have noticed that when playing minecraft the framerate often stays above 100, but any quick or fast turn in game (as I move the cursor to look different directions), makes the framerate drop dramatically below 60, appearing as a stutter in-game. I have tried disabling Lucid Virtu MVP, updating all of my drivers and reinstalling minecraft but this problem persists.
