I'm not sure if this is a software issue or not...My speaker balance is moving over to one side on its own. I have a SB Live 5.1 card and am running Win XP.
I have tried reinstalling and updating drivers etc.
Anyone else having this problem?
Tia for any info.

I had the same problem using the driver that came with my SoundBlaster Audigy card. I bought it at the end of September. By the end of October a new driver was available for the soundcard. If you have already downloaded the new driver and software from Creative you have to uninstall the old driver and software before you install the new driver and software. Then the balance problem should be resloved.
