Budget is paramount, keeping below $800.00 buckaroos as much as possible, this excludes the peripherals, monitor and software. =D
But I do want to squeeze every dollar I can for every ounce of quality possible that's why for the motherboard I went for Asrock, intel over amd.
I'm completely new to this and everything so far i've been able to piece together is only by bugging friends, reading through forums and lol, bothering those forums like mad... The budget is because at the moment I'm a part time substitute teacher (degreed), a tx. army national guard member and budgeting myself like mad for this build as well as for my exams, the ppr, my content area exam for generalist 4-8th grade, and another certification to teach Special Education and I care for my Abuela who suffers from alzheimer's disease...so yah, I want something decent enough so that when I do play-I can take a load off and enjoy my MMO/gaming, webchatting experience.
The Pc is mostly geared towards gaming in MMO's, like the new FFXIV (lol, dun hate, I wanna try it out), WOW (only because so many of my friends are on there, and it's a great way to be involved with them when their stationed in korea, japan, europe etc.),
chat to my family in Alaska when I do get the chance, make lesson plans utilizing media such as powerpoints and videos when I teach, and all the in
between stuff such as: playing on a 32 inch to 40' inch lcd/led at 1080p flatscreen-should I choose
burning dvd's (not so much high definition sutff)
downloading and streaming media-music/hulu etc.
some light video editing/photo (i'm apart of a ghost investigation team as a hobby)
I do need a power supply ----Overclocking will be much much much later, say in about a year's times, so I don't think I need extra fancy smancy cooling products but I am open to suggestions!
anything will be much appreciated!
Have a great weekend!
