I have 2 notebooks, both with WXP SP1.

I'm trying to install my new Camcorder (Sony DCR-PC109)on my main
system but it does not recognize it. On my other system it does. It
doesn't even recognize that USB drive.

On the other system it recognized it right away... I saw which drivers
(.ini)are running it and made sure the system had it. My issue is
that I don't know which sys file it needs to run. Last week I had the
same issue with a 40GB iPod.

Any help is appreciated

AM.

PS I think I'm having this issue because when I once uninstalled some
HW I took off all files associated w/ it... (I know I know... :( )

Do you have an INF file for installation? If look in it for your SYS file.
