Hey,
I've recently purchased a new system with the specs as followed:
CPU: Intel Core i5 3570K
Motherboard: ASUS P8Z77-M Motherboard
Graphics: Galaxy GeForce GTX 670 2GB 915MHz
Memory: G.Skill Sniper F3-14900CL9D-8GBSR 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3
Solid State Drive: SanDisk Extreme Solid State Drive 120GB
Hard Drive: Seagate Barracuda 2TB ST2000DM001
Optical Drive: Samsung SH-222BB SATA DVDRW
Power supply: Antec High Current Gamer 520W Modular

Whilst I'm happy that I can now Skyrim maxed with a steady 60fps, I've noticed it is underperforming in numerous benchmark tests. With 3d MARK I get a score of P8237 and with unigine i get around 44fps average(maxed). Are these scores normal? I've reinstalled my nvidia drivers but the scores remain the same.

Yep those scores are normal, with my overclocked gtx 670 and overclocked i5 3570k I get around 46 fps maxed on unigine!
