256 mbyte pc2100 memory have been very hard to find localy for the last week or so, don't know why but the prices all around here have gone up from about $50 to the doubble so when i found a hynix for $60 i baught it imideately. Was that a bad idea? shuld i return it and go get some samsung, i don't mind the 2 hour trip if there is a noticable difference. With noticable i ment a more stable system or a few points in some benchmark. I intend to run my memory in CL 2, hynix is 2.5, samsung i don't know.

What shuld i do?

Yes that is what i meant. Never heard of hynix. It would probably be fine. Was the other memory just samsung brand or were they samsung chips.
