can u provide a link of gt 440 that costs 4000?

It would be better if you ask the same query there too. You might get suggestions better than this one.
Shipping charges are there I guess. Around 100-200rs.
Also if you are comfortable with second hand gpus than that place will provide you with a lot of options

AT present im using a ZOTAC Nvidia 512 Mb 8400 GS. This worked from past 4 years. Today it got Screwed! Getting Display Errors and i tried everything and nothing seems to work. So i decided to go for a better graphic card. I need the card to run Adobe CS6 and some Hi end Photo Stitching Software.

My Budget is 4k now. ( after Hitesh advice)

Please let me know.

the 630 should be better than the 440. As i said the 600 series is fairly new and there aren't any benchmarks on them

Hitesh thank u for the info... Other websites say that 630 is better... any idea why?... Please help man.. I cannot invest again and again!

Link please ?
I have read somewhere that lower end 600series gpus are just rebrands of 400series with a little better performance

if u could wait a week , more info will come in on the 600 series cards.

Edit : Note that the 440 pointed by hitesh is a DDR3 version. There is also a DDR5 version of 440. So if u are reading reviews or looking at benchmarks then check whether it is a DDR3 or DDR5 version. My opinion is to go with the 630 since it costs lesser than 440

so should i go for the 630 then? Which brand is better, Asus, zotac, gigabyte, or what ?

This is the one im talking about. shall i order?

Go with the 1GB version
http://www.flipkart.com/zotac-nvidia-geforce-gt-630-syn...

Qty of Graphics memory really doesn't make that much of a difference unless u are doing super sampling AA that no one does today. 1GB is way too sufficient for ur requirement. 2GB is totally useless unless u are a hardcore user.

BTW u increased ur budget way too high. If u are still considering a lower budget that radeon 6450 would be good enough.

And flipkart's delivery is pretty awesome. But the snapdeal link u gave had a discount. I don't know about snapdeal. It's up to u.

Whats Super Sampling AA. So you suggest that i go ahead with that Radeon 6450 Card?

Best solution

How about this card, can i directly plug it on to my Intel DH55TC MO BO?

Every card in that price range should be compatible with ur mobo. Every card discussed till now is compatible.
5570 is better than the 440.
Check this link:
http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/gaming-graphics-car...
This chart basically indicates gaming performance but should indicate performance in general too. The good thing about this chart is that it lists all cards even obsolote ones and even ddr3 or ddr5 versions. Most 'actual' benchmarks only compare a few cards.
In this chart u can see how much a card is better than another one, and then decide on the card based on its price. The 610,620,630 cards should appear in this list in a week or so.

Supersampling:

ZOTAC GeForce 8400 GS 512 mb ( DDR 2 or 3 Im not sure) is the present card im Having. So wouldn't this be a better card?

http://www.flipkart.com/powercolor-amd-ati-radeon-hd557...

Why didn't i see that? (Maybe i just filtered the price below 3500Rs and didn't see it)

Hope that u bought the cpu way after the 8400 because 8400's performance was similar to ur processor graphics.
October 5, 2012 5:51:07 PM

SO this Power Color card is Good right?
Yes you are correct. I bought the 8400 some 5 years back. Then 3 years later i got the New mobo and Processor.
SO im going with this Power color graphic card! Ok?
October 5, 2012 5:54:13 PM

Moreover with my 8400 getting screwed up, I removed the card and now Running on Intel HD graphics ( On Board) - My windows Rating came to 4.7 and With 8400 it was 3.2.
I wonder how.?

nvidia gt630 and gt440 are the same cards. no difference at all.. gt630 is just a rebrand of gt440.. same card different name...so same performance as well..a good way to mislead customers .. though gt440 ddr5 will be faster than gt630 which only comes in ddr3..dont get any of those get a radeon 6670 ddr5 ..

yes, that powercolor 5570 seems to be the perfect deal for u. It fits exactly ur budget. And i don't see any better card for a good price. The only negative thing i can say about this card is that this card is 2 series older(5000,6000,7000 series). So u might have a hard time reselling or getting support after a few years.

About the windows rating , i usually do not depend on it. It is pretty flawed. The 8400's performance and ur cpu's graphics performance is pretty similar. Note that with the Core i series the graphics processing is done by the cpu. Previously there was a separate graphics chipset on the board to do it. The best way to determine the performance is to launch some 3D application and check the fps. 3DMark11 and Vantage are some software used to test performance. Or just play Crysis or Battlefield 3.
