Interested in making a purchase soon.

It's between a new monitor or a second video card. At the moment, I have 2 each Acer 1920x1200 24'' LCD's ( from 2008 ) and an EVGA GTX 680 SC.
Was thinking of upgrading my viewing pleasure and was thinking either a 27in Asus 144hz monitor with 3D ( 1920x1080 ) or maybe even a 30'' 2560x1440 or 1600, but was thinking that going from 1200p to 1080p would kinda be a sideways/backwards upgrade, unless 120+hz is where it's at. 80% is gaming, 20% netflix/blu-rays. Ideas?

personally, i would choose a monitor if i were you. 680 is a great card, you wouldnt notice any difference between it and 2 680s on a 1080p panel, i wouldnt think. you will however notice a HUGE difference between 1080p and 2560x1440 on a larger panel. the high resolution *might* make you want another videocard, might not. i would definately get the panel first though
