I did make a thread before but not many people repleid and it got buried even after 5 bumps. So im going to ask again.

Im buying all the parts tomorrow as im upgrading my current machine into what i hope will run BF3 at 60fps on ultra settings.

My current PC is

MSI 770-G45
AMD Athlon II x4 645
Saphire Radeon HD 6670 1GB ddr 5
EZcool PSU 650w
4GB Ram

I want to upgrade my Graphics card to this http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814125418

But i have no idea what Processor or Motherboard to get with it,

Im upgrading my ram to 8GB too.

Do i need a new PSU?

Im also going to get a new case to that i have a nice airflow and can keep everything cool as i can't afford a cooling system.

I have £350 to spend and that Graphics card takes up about £150 of it.

Can you please tell me what you think would be best for my rig as i need to write them down and take them into the shop tomorrow.

Thanks

Also, He said he may give me some cash for my Graphics card as he only put it in a few months ago. Should i sell it to him or would i benefit much at all keeping it and having 2 different gpu's?

You get no benefit in having 2 different GPU's, if they are the same you can do crossfire, but if not that won't work. Yes, you should replace you PSU, I would get a 650W-700W PSU.

What resolution will you be playing at? And just an FYI the $69.99 game coupon is Far cry III and a 20% of discount when you buy MOH 3. Don't keep 2 different GPU's doesn't work that way. I like to not think about Cross-firing Med-end/high-end cards because most med-high end cards have heat issues and high consumption which means you need better cooling, a bigger power supply, and possibly a bigger case.

EDIT: Missed the part about you buying a new case.

Why would i need a whole new machine?

Should i keep the Mother board and processor i have and just get the GPU/Psu/Ram/Case?

You won't be maxing BF3 at 60FPS with your CPU even with a great GPU=(.

I meant that You would need to change everything except case because your 650w is not true rated and might kill your parts off.

So, What do you think i should do?

D:

I want to be able to play BF3, Skyrim, Both Fallouts and The War Z on high/ultra settings with reasonably good fps.

I forgot to add that currently the max resolution is 1600x900 so im guessing that is the res il be playing my games in.

It's impossible with BF3. =(

You would have to make a new system just for that game.

The Athlon will seriously hold you back.

Although, if it is not 1080p resolution then there's a chance.

So there is no point in getting the card i wanted orignally? D:

Can you link me to a good 7850 please

And to some decent mobos and prorcessors as i wanna take pics on my phone and show them too him.

I really would like them to be the best i can afford.

Also a decent PSU please.

Also, I have no idea about over clocking but i would like the mobo and processor to be able to get the best out of my GPU.

Sorry if i sound like an idiot as to be honest i dont know much of what im talking about

Thanks for your help though

You're from Uk right?

I think the Gigabyte 7850 would be your best bet since it's the cheapest there when I last looked.

Cutebeans, If i go with that exact formula, Will i be able to run

both fallouts, Skyrim, War Z on Max settings?

And BF3 on medium? Bear in mind im not 1080p.

If the answer is a 100% yes then il go with that exact formula

Also, I cant afford a cooling system too..So im hoping a few case fans plus the fans on the GPU will keep it cool... Will that be fine?

Oh if you are not going on 1080p then

Fallout 3 bare. YOU SHOULD MAX IT OUT EASILY.

SKYRIM AND WARZ really depends but You should have no problems having it at HIGH.

Honestly, having a 7850 and not being on 1080p, you will max a lot of games and most games will be at high. :D

BF3 will surely get to High. I've seen youtube vids that can get it up High and at decent framerates.
