Crossfire or wait?

Hi, I can't decide whether to get another 6850 to crossfire with my current gigabyte 6850 or wait for the 8000 series to come out next year. Right now i'm running one 1920x1080 monitor, but will likely get another with the graphics upgrade any advice would be helpful.

Why would you crossfire a 6850 when you are using a 1080p Monitor anyway?
Are you doing rendering? If not, there is no real benefit to crossfire a 6850 when you are using a 1080p Monitor...

But in my opinion, you should wait for the 8xxx series to come out, and buy a better card, such as the 8950.
To crossfire two medium cards will not really give much performance, and there are a lot of issues related to dual-cards, so you are better off with a single powerful card.
