Amd HD vs nvidea?

hi frndz i heared that amd hd cards are very poor because it has very heating prob,and as compare to nvedia it'ss very poor in performance also,is this true that it as heating and performance problem,also tell me that i am planning to buy zotac gtx 550 ti for gaming in 1366x768 res is there any equalient hd card.

NVIDIA isn't better than AMD, and AMD isn't better than NVIDIA.
Compare card to card, not company to company.
Your res is low, 720p, get a GTX460.

It depend on your budget and personal taste in brand-ie AMD or NVIDIA.

Personally, AMD offers good value for money. NVIDIA offers better performance. My opinion-No flame wars please.

An AMD equivalent for a GTX 550 Ti would be HD 7770, HD 6790 or HD 6770.
