I'm ordering this from Ironside Computers. I plan on using it for games. I want to have this system for as long as possible. I want to overclock the CPU. I would OC the GPU as well, but then i think i'd have to buy liquid cooling for the GPU as well, which would cost $250 more.

How much is this? No offense but this build is a POS. You want a 3570k, not a 2500k. Also, if you want a build to last a long time you will want 8gb ram. Alsom if you are gonna get a 650ti with a $250 water cooler, you might want to consider a 7970 instead, I can guaranteeing that you won't be able to overclock to the speed of a 7970, no matter what cooler you use, you probably couldn't even get it to a 7850. You won't need 600watts for a 650ti, that thing could probably run on 450, if it even needs that. From what I hear you probably will want windows 7, I've heard it isn't very good for destops.

I agree, but my parents want me to get it prebuilt. They got a tower built for them with Windows 95 (when it was current) and it froze constantly. Tried replacing the ram, didn't solve it. And I do get a 3 year warranty included with parts and labor.

If you get bit by a dog do you think all dogs are bad? One computer went bad, that is nothing. Also, in this day and age, it is way easier to get help than it was in 95. Computer parts are now designed to make it easier for people to build it themselves. Your build is better than the first one, but I bet you are overpaying by maybe even a few hundred dollars. If this speech can't convince your parents, then look at origin, I have seen that they usually have better prices the the one you are looking at.

At Origin, the cheapest pc is $200 over my budget. The problem is not that the computer went bad, but that it did not have a warranty for the whole system. It is always possible to have a faulty system, bu if I build my own I can be stuck with no fix, and I can only get my money back if I catch it in the 30 days. At least thats what my parents think. They were also nervous when I jailbroke my iPod Touch, which as you probably know, is very easy. They just don't like taking chances unfortunately. Even 1/100000 ones. :(

Maybe you could get them to at least get a 7970 seperate. That will help, but I hate to see people overpay, which you will if you do that. Maybe you could look at it computerlx? It's basically paying a 10-15% more than newegg for it to be built already.

Everything seems a bit cheaper, though they do charge more for "professional wiring."The gtx 670 is also $2 more. Ironside and computerlx charge $60 more than what it's on newegg for.

And how reliable is the company?

Yeah, I've looked at videos and I feel confident that I can, but my parents want a warrenty for the whole thing. And paying extra isn't so bad for one-stop tech support and a 3 year warranty. I think the hardest part would be the water cooling, but I'm sure I can figure it out. I just need to get some moolah.
