Hello,
Am using cq62 268tx compaq presario built with ATI Radeon premium graphics 1gb. Its emits enormous heat recently. Can you help me in solving this issue. because of it my battery life is reduced and it is asking for a replacement.

A discrete graphics card in a laptop will demand lots of power. Your battery will fade rapidly. You should really be plugged when gaming. If gaming is creating more heat than it normally did, it sounds like the air flow is restricted. Your laptop may need major cleaning inside. And always make sure the air grilles are clean and not blocked.
