Print Port scanner driver problem

MY device manager is showing the yellow caution icon. It
says there is is problem with the print port scanner
driver UmaxPCLS code 24. So far, the only thing I have
determined is that I need a system 32 file---
(C:Windows\System32\drivers\UMAXPCLS.sys) I have no idea
where to go from here. My file version is is 5.1.2600.0.
This is beyond me. Help! Any ideas on how to work with
printer port problems. My scanner is a Umax Astra 3450
and is working properly; however each time I log on, get
the "found new hardware" message. I haven't added any new
hardware. Are these two things related? Thanks in advance
