What is burdening me?

I have a Intel E8400 clocked at 3.00Ghz Dual Core and a Factory OCed 260GTX Black Edition.

When I play Bf3 I find it hard to substain 30FPS. While I see some other people play this on High and still have higher FPS than me.

Is my Gfx Card the problem or my CPU?

If it's my CPU, how can i OC it to 3.7+

I'm using a EP45 - UD3R Gigabyte board

  1. No one can help? Please!!!!
  2. Someone help please!!!
  3. What resolution are you playing at? You can really only play BF3 at low resolution with a 260
  4. Honestly you won't get very good performance in a game like BF3 with an older dual core and a 260, those are both fairly outdated.
  5. So what's a good choice?

Do you think pre built PC's at Originpc.com are good? Or CyberPowerGaming

@1024x768. I do fine at 1280x1024 until recently. I think it's because of the dust gathered
  6. Hello? Answer my above question anyone please?
  7. Maybe you could get away with just buying a new gfx card and not a whole system as you seem to suggest. An nVidia GTX670 or above equivalent would do the trick I imagine. You could add more RAM if necessary too.
  8. I already order my new system, I was wondering what I could do so this computer won't make annoying noises when I play.
