Which 670 to sli?

I am about to pull the trigger and buy a sli configuration, but am kinda lost on which set of 670's I want to go with. On that note I want to add that reference cards are not something that I am interested in. I found some cheap 670s on ebay and want to be sure that I pick the right ones. I don't want the cards to be super loud (something quieter). I saw that the zotac amp edition is a great 670 card, but is it a lot louder than the other aftermarket 670 models? Any help here guys would be fantastic! :pt1cable:

More about which
  1. id get the evga ftw or superclocked, or the gigabyte or the asus either of those
  2. two GTX 670 Superclocked's and DONE. I am kinda mind set on getting a EVGA GTX 670 4GB w/backplate Superclocked my self
  3. After looking at the stats of the one's you guys mentioned I believe I will go with the superclocked, or the ftw. Is it tomato tomatoe here? Or is there a difference between the two that would be a deal breaker? Thanks guys.
  4. The FTW is slightly higher clocked.

    Avoid the EVGA Superclocked

As it was, the SC didn't compete all that well.

EVGA SC Boost Clock is 1046 outta the box....stable at 1200 Mhz
EVGA SC gets 3DMark Score of 8691 outta the box and 9443 OC'd
Idle temp is 29C / load temp is 78C
Noise is 37 dBA Idle / 43 dBA under load

Asus TOP Boost Clock is 1137 outta the box .... stable at 1280 Mhz
Asus gets 3DMark Score of 9340 outta the box and 9839 OC'd
Idle temp is 30C / load temp is 72C
Noise is 37 dBA Idle / 38 dBA under load

That makes the Asus 7% faster outta the box than the EVGA SC, 6C cooler and almost 1/4 as loud under load (every 3 dBA is a doubling of sound level). The FTW is slightly faster than the SC, leaving the Asus model w/ just a 5% performance advantage

  6. Nice information there JackNaylorPE you saved me on that purchase! I guess I will most likely be going with the windforce since I can go to a store and get it today instead of waiting all weekend. Do those have a 6 and 8 pin connector instead of the 6 & 6?
