hello all

i have a nokia 7250i, windows xp home ed, service pack 2, and a dku-5 cloned
cable
after 6 hours of work, i managed to get the multi-port serial adapter in the
hardware list, but with a "!" next to the connectivity adapter dku-5, and a
"code 10"

drivers are the ones in the windows "add hardware wizard" under "nokia" and
"nokia inc"

i imagine this must be an old question, but after googling for a few hours,
still no answer

anyone that can help ??

then, if this is solved, i hope to get the "nokia pc suite" working........

thank, best regards

I just purchased a DKU-5 clone (made in China) to use with my 6800 phone and
discovered that the driver on Nokia's web site won't work! The
documentation that came with my cable directed me to a Chinese web site to
download the correct drivers. Don't know if this will help you or not, but
here are the links:

Win 2K http://home.netvigator.com/~wjcorp9/Win2K/
Win '98 SE http://home.netvigator.com/~wjcorp9/Win98_Me/
Win XP http://home.netvigator.com/~wjcorp9/winxp/

I just created a folder and put all the files in it, then during the "Found
New Hardware" process, I directed the driver installation to that folder and
I'm up & running!

Again, this worked for the cable that I purchased, but it may not for yours!

When I spoke to Nokia Support, I was told that the genuine Nokia Cables had
a chip in them, and they are made in Korea!

Good luck!

Ray
