Boot drive 120gb ssd ocz agility 3
hard drive 1tb
Case: Coolermaster CM690 II

Any advice and recommend GPU would be great I've not decided on AMD I will consider Nvidia as well

Thanks

You have made the best choice already in my opinion. The 7870 is a great card for the price.

Yeah, you can't really go wrong with that. When you say the machine is about built, that you have all the parts, or you have already decided? If you haven't bought it yet, I'd recommend an Asrock Z77 Extreme 4 , if you budget will allow it.

If you shell out some more money go for 7950 or gtx 670

It's already up and running it just doesn't have a GPU installed Yet. I've been building it as my friend as had money for parts so he's been using it since the ssd was installed. I actually have a Asrock mobo in my own rig really impressed by it. However My friend once had a bad experience with the brand and wanted to go with the Gigabyte I'll Look into the Z77 Extreme 4 for future builds thanks for the advice.
