Future heating issue?

I just ordered my computer parts for my gaming and editing PC, but it never occurred to me that it might overheat on my carpet floor which I'm planning to set it on. Would it be beneficial to create a hollow platform for my computer to sit on so that it doesn't get hotter than it needs to? I don't have any bottom fans and my build is

Since the psu is bottom mounted then that would probably be helpful.

Does it matter how far off of the ground the case is?

Your case has feet on it so as long as they are on a flat, hard surface it will be fine. I just use some doubled over cardboard as a platform and my bottom mounted PSU never gets hot.

if you could put a piece of plexiglas below the case so the psu fan wont pull hair from the carpet and wiil have a better chance to cool
