Bad time of year to buy a GPU?

Is this a good or bad time to buy? Anything on the horizon?

I would say its a good time as there are not any cards coming soon and all AMD cards have recently come down in price. But whatever you get it will always be cheaper in the future whatever its just whether its days or months.

Thanks. Just didn't want to regret paying now when in a week something will be £50 cheaper.

I've been hesitating to upgrade from my 6870 to a gtx 670 or a 7970 because i hear the new amd 8000 is coming out near January, still not sure whether to upgrade now
