Will this card fit into my case

Will the sapphire 7950 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814202006 , fit inside my rosewill challenger case with a z77 extreme 4 mobo? I hear this card is very long and weighs a lot so I want to make sure. Thanks

  1. No I don't think so, from looking at the top comment on the youtube video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BY_e5so32qg it's 11.4 max and that card is 11.42. And I can't find any where else saying max gpu length. But you could remove a hdd bay and it would fit then.
  2. Hmm, ok. I think ima try to make it work. I only use one hdd and get a ssd later. 0.02"... Really.... Lol

lol i didn't want to give someone advise that may end up being costly. here is the yt post "I measured(based on my motherboard)the length from the PCI E expansion bays of the case toward the 3.5 inch drive bays to find exactly 11.4 inches in length." But if it doesn't fit out of the box it would only take 5 minutes to change that.
  4. The xfx 7950 double d is 10.5" so I might just go with that.

Just make sure you get the one with the higher core clock ;) Its also cheaper.
  6. Yup it is 900 MHz I believe.
  7. Yep that's it.
  8. Will my 600 w corsair psu be enough? I don't want to overwork it
  9. Yeah it will be plenty, but if you wan to crossfire it later down the road you will need to upgrade.
