I'm wanting to put a workstation together for a friend. He will be doing 3D rendering, using autodesk CAD and Revit. I have read a bit online for which individual components would be suitable but couldn't really find a complete build. So here is mine. We couldn't spend to much so costs are kept as low as we can. What's people professional opinion on this build? I have never used these programs so I am flying blind to some extent.
MOBO: Asrock Z77 extreme-4 m
HDD: 2TB seagate barracuda
RAM: G. Skills Area 1866Mhz 32GB (4x8GB)
GPU: Leadtek NVIDIA quadro 2000 1GB
CPU Cooler: cool master hyper 212 EVO
PSU: Antec earthwatts 650watts green
Case: Antec 300 two
Thoughts? Aftermarket cooler is in there basically because we live in the tropics and I don't want that thing getting too hot. I know I should of gone with an SSD but I am trying to keep costs down and it's a $200 jump to a 520GB SSD.
Any constructive criticism appreciated! I know I could of gone a GTX card but from what I have read the quadro 2000 eats the GTX 660ti when it comes to the 3D rendering.
