Gtx 660 compatibility with mobo

Hi all

I'm thinking of upgrading my GPU from a GTX260 to a GTX660 or a GTX560Ti.

My current rig:
CPU: AMD Phenom 9850
GPU: XFX Nvidia GTX260
Mobo: Asus M3N72-D
Memory: 4GB
PSU: Corsair 750W

Will the GTX660 work with my current mobo? Or should i go with the GTX560Ti (i've seen rigs on other threads which use the same mobo with a 560Ti, so i know that card will work)
If you see any other problems please do tell me.

More about compatibility mobo
  1. Yeah, it has a PCIe 2.0 slot, should be fine. Current cards can't saturate it anyways.
  2. and its running at x16. It'll be fine, happy gaming :)
  3. Thank you!!
  4. see if you ok with 7850 it will give you good performace or may be 7870
  5. Thnx, but I've always gone with Nvidia ... perhaps in my next build :-)
