Which rig would last me 5 years??

Im not sure which build to get i need it to last around 5 years through out college (been saving for a long time)
Im going to be studying Computer Science Major/Graphic Design Minor (don't know if that will help you guys)

Already own:
-Keyboard
-Mouse
-1080p (will be using it as 2nd display)
-1TB 7200rpm HDD

Uses:
-Gaming
-internet
-possibly photoshop in the future
-storing and watching HD Movies

Part Preference:
-Intel
-nVidia
-Corsair
-Mostly the stuff i picked

Notes:
-Please don't recommend that i should change my build every 2 years and just answer the question
-The power supply i want isn't available on part picker the one I'm getting is the Platinum edition
-Already bought the fans, case, and HDD

Solution
For your uses you most likely won't need X79. The first build looks good. I'd switch the SSD to a Vertex 4 or a Samsung 830, and then make sure you get the low profile Vengeance RAM. Otherwise there's nothing I would change.
