When will a resolution of 1600*1200 for 19" lcd displays available? That's for me the biggest drawback of buying one. It's such a big screen and you can't get the best of it. Why is it you have to get to 20" or higher before getting that resolution? Is it still to hard to manufactor?

there are none. you can compare any of the viewsonic lcd monitors by using this link. (you can filter out the results for 19" monitors using the check boxes above the chart). i dont know where she got her info about veiwsonic, but unfortunately according to their website, there are no 19 inch lcds with a native 1600x1200 resolution.

19" is a big screen, from display size point of view. But, if you choose 1600*1200, will you see the same size of icon? or it will get smaller and user has to put his/her face closer to the big screen?
