MoBo: ASRock Z77 Extreme4

GPU: Sapphire AMD Radeon 7850 1GB

Case: Rosewill REDBONE black SECC steel case ATX mid tower

Ram: G.Skill ripjaw x series 8gb (x2 4gb)

SSD: OCZ Vertex 3 90GB

PSU: Coarsair builder series cx500 500w

Optical Drive: Lite-ON DVD Burner

Total cost: ? (Someone plz estimate)

Additional Comment: Would Hard-drive be the SSD or are they different. If they are, I need a 1tb hardrive and I need a monitor and OS. Thanks.

i would swap the i5 3570k down to an i5-2500k you can oc it a bit and it will match it fora big savings and grab an aftermarket cooler with it. (thats what i run and i am yet to see anything make it stutter)

you may want to up the 500w psu to a 650 or 800 if you want to do sli or cross fire, but you can all ways do that at time of update

also ssd and hdd are very different things hdd is old disk based storage and ssd is solid state and cots a lot more as im sure you saw, the ssd is nice for fast load times on games but you will eat 90GB drive in a few days. grab a hdd along side it if you want it to be there.

I highly doubt that is under $600. Do the research and actually add up the price. If you need a monitor, I suggest getting a $90 900p one on newegg. A 7850 1GB should be perfect at that resolution. Also downgrade your cpu to an IB i3 which should cost $130. Last get a $55 asrock motherboard on newegg. It has pci 3.0. Do all of this and then I will help you from there.

An 3570k is sronger and uses much less power than a 2500k. I have an i5-3570k at 4.4 GHz that is turning out better scores than a 2500k at 4.8 Ghz, and it is only using 81w. If I got liquid cooling it would trounce it! Do not get an older cpu when the newer one is stronger and costs about the same!!!

Also get a 450 or 500w psu. At $600, sli/cf ain't happening. Sorry!

Rough estimate, not looking up any prices. I'm thinking that's around $700-800. 300 for the cpu and board from microcenter, 40 for the ram, 40 for the psu, 20 for optics, 90 for the ssd, 180 for the gpu, 50 for the case... that's 720, plus tax. and you gotta add a monitor and OS, that's another 200. so looking at $900. I really enjoy building system so I'd take a different approach for your budget.

I'll copy this page and when I get home from work I'll see if I can throw together a build for you @ your budget. unless someone else throws something together first.
