i wouldn't pay anything because it's not better than what I have - what someone will pay for it depends on what they have in relation to what they can pay for a newer rig

BUT, if you can price the components now, deduct 30-40% for it being a year old and used and you'll have a round about value, give or take

You already pulled the links from newegg. So there is your cost. I'd take 20-30% off of actual price assuming you know and trust him.

750Gb drive is worth about $45.

Remember the value of windows and any software that he is relinquishing the registration code for.
