System Hang, Radeon HD 6870, Please Help

Hey Guys,
I've recently been experiencing system hangs & can't figure out what is causing it, after about 15-45mins the system will lock up, I can still hover over icons for a short while & then the system will hang & the screen will flash this image on the screen before the monitor goes into stand-by due to lack of a signal.

Personally I think it’s an issue with the graphics card, I gave the whole machine a good clean out & removed a lot of dust & fluff from the components but it has made no difference.

I have also used GPU-Z to check out the temps but they seem to be on a steady 41°

My components are;

Motherboard - Gigabyte 870A-UD3
Processor - AMD Phenom II X6 1090T Black Edition
Graphics Card - ATI Radeon HD 6870
RAM - 8Gb
O/S - Windows 7-64bit

If anyone has any suggestions it would be much appreciated.

Does this only happen when gaming or whatever you are doing? Has the system worked fine with the current hardware for a while or only since an upgrade or ever since built? What PSU do you have?

It does this when doing anything, even when just downloading, I have had this setup for about a year now & it's been working fine, nothing has changed recently, the PSU is a 650w or 750w

Any ideas?
