New Computer Build Idea - Looking for Constructive Criticism

Hello,

Here is my rough part list of what I'm planning on building into a new gaming PC that I will also be using for photography. I'm not an expert by any means but I've built computers in the past and I would like to get some ideas on what people think of this build.

Also I'm wondering what type of monitor I should buy I'm trying to stay under 200 to 250$. I have these two that I think will work well but if anyone has any suggestions I'd appreciate it.

Halve the RAM to 8GB, drop the 3770k to a 3570k and get a motherboard along the lines of an AsRock Z77 Extreme4. That will get you a rig that will game just as well and be much cheaper.

Swap out the Crucial M4 for a Samsung 830 (or OCZ Vertex 4 if your after write speeds).
Get the Gigabyte 670, much better cooling on it than the EVGA.

Awesome suggestions thank you very much but why switch out the current motherboard with the AsRock Z77?

The Extreme4 wont be that much different then, though it does have two more SATAIII ports.
