Yes, Canon has a very nice selection of Big Glass....the average amateur
photographer doesn't own ANY of them. Suppose everyone on this group
randomly swapped camera systems with the next guy. After a few weeks
spent learning the new camera, most of our 'new' images would be
indistinguishable from those taken with the old equipment. (Obviously,
a new super wide/long lens will make new compositions available.)

You could swap my F5 for a Kodak Brownie and my pictures wouldn't get any
worse, might even improve...
