Best gpu for my amd4100 4.2ghz

Currently have 180£ budget for new psu and gpu, not rich enough for CPU as well.

What's the best gpu and psu I get with my current cheap rig

Amd FX 4.2ghz 4100
22" 1080p LCD tv use a hdmi
8gb 1333 ram
1tb hard drive
Gigabyte motherboard
450w psu
6670 2gb sapphire ----------upgrading £180 budget shared for new psu too


I want too play latest games on medium/high if not better if you could tell me the best gpu I could get for my cheap rig , and graphics I would get from the gpu in terms of medium/high/fps etc

Cod/bf3 and WoW mainly

Go with a Radeon 7750 - that way you won't have to upgrade your PSU.

What PSU model do yo have? Some 450W rated units can handle a Radeon 7950 or GTX 670 in your situation perfectly fine whereas some would struggle with anything more than a 7750.

Just make sure you've got a high quality power supply.I know only one 450W power supply that can handle the card and it's a very high quality unit made by XFX.

Otherwise if you're not sure what you power supply is, then buy this card instead.

It's about 5% slower but it will most likely going to run on a a normal 450W PSU without any problems.

OR if your power supply is made by a unknown or low quality brand, you shouldn't buy a card more powerfull than the HD 7750

Antec has an excellent 450W PSU that can handle more than a 7870. XFX doesn't make PSUs, their PSUs are made by Seasonic. I think that this Antec 450W is also made by Seasonic.
