I don't know much about the V. But a google search finds it mentioned
most often in context with older equipment. Since (below) the VN is
supposed to work with both X-series and Maxxum, there is a good chance
that the V will fit a Maxxum body. But do ask before you buy or get a
return guarantee.

The VN, per the B&H website says:

"Konica Minolta VN Anglefinder with Case for Maxxum & X-series Cameras
(not for 2xi, 3xi, SPxi)"

I have the VN and it is a great tool for all kinds of work from wide
angle near the ground and looking up, to macro, to... even for some
studio work it helps avoid the crouches and crunches.

It flips to the sides such that you can use it in awkward situations
such as photographing a table top subject with the camera high... you
can stand beside the camera and not have to get above it... or shooting
upwards in portrait orientation from a low angle... etc.
