I've recently bought an ASUS GeForce gtx 660ti overclocked edition and I'm wondering if this card will max out settings on a 1920x1080 monitor. I know I could have bought a HD 7950 for the same price but I've already made the purchase so this is the card I'm stuck with. Thanks

define "max" because cards react differently to different levels of anti aliasing. and the 660ti isn't built for high levels of it. if 4x msaa or fxaa is what you play, then the statement is disregardable.

Yes.

Yes.

It won't be able to max out with every setting turned up, however you can turn down AA and AF a bit and it will be fine. IMO you don't really need more than 4x anyways.

Ok, for example, if I play boderlands 2 at highest settings with 4x or 8x msaa and physx on med/high will it still run smoothly

Yes it should, my 670 uses from 60-70 % of it's gpu to run borderlands 2 maxed out if everything turned on.

The 660ti should max it out with some room to spare.
