Sorry if this is in the wrong section, I am new to this type of thing. How do you tell if a graphics card will be compatible with a motherboard? I want to upgrade to a GTX 660 Ti card and have a 0m017g motherboard.

If you want to know if modern graphic cards is compatible with your motherboard, check if the latter have at least one PCI Express x16 slot.

Also, what is your other system specs? We want to know if there will be any bottleneck with the 660 Ti.

Edit: Your motherboard have one PCI-E x16 slot.

What else do you need to know? I have a 350W power supply and my current graphics card is a 9800 GT as it shipped from the manufacturer (a whole prebuilt Dell).

What is the model of your Dell? So that we know what type of casing it used.

Also, 350W is not enough for 660 Ti. You're looking at least 500W quality PSU. (NVIDIA reccommend 450W though) This one will do the job just fine. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...

Edit: We also need your model of processor. Thanks.

It is a Studio 540 Dell. My processor is a Q9650. Is it difficult to change a PSU?

Your PSU is using ATX form factor, which is the standard form factor.

It's not that hard to change your power supply. Here's a lengthy video guide on how to change your power supply. http://youtu.be/UzolRkN7Eew

Hope you enjoy it. :)
