Best graphics card(s) for Antec Neo 520w PSU

Ok guys I need to decide on the best graphic card(s) for my PSU: an antec neo 520w with 40A on the 12v rail.
This computer has a non-OC phenom x 4 965 at 3.4ghz and 16gb 1600 ram, there is no dvd drive and there is only one HDD. Also my case has good airflow.

I was looking at the gtx 480 because of its power for the price but Im hearing it might be really loud and hot. I want a card(s) with similar performance, crossfiring/sli old cards is ok if my psu can handle it. I am upgrading from a gts 250.

EDIT: I am looking at a price range of 200 dollars! If you recommend a crossfire or sli setup i would buy one card and then the other later on(total under 400)

Your PSU can run pretty much any single card solution out there by the way.

Agreed with above. That PSU has plenty of +12V amperage for modern single GPU cards.
