Radeon HD5670 + D915GEV

Hello everybody,

I really need some advise if i can use Radeon HD5670 onto my D915GEV? I tried installing but my pc won't boot up. Can someone advice if there's any cmos setting that i would have to change.

Is it not booting, or are you just not getting video from the new card?

not booting even if i'm using the integrated vga, but when i pull out the HD5670, everything is back to normal..

Well in theory it should work, but you are mixing a 2004 motherboard with a 2009 graphics card.

Just another thought, what's your power supply? Although usually that wouldn't prevent posting. Which I guess begs the question is it POSTing, and then not booting windows, or just nothing, not even POST.

i was thinking bout the mixture of new and old component.. i'm using a 400W power supply .. n its not booting at all not even a single post..
