XFX 7950 power connection Tags: Graphics Cards Connection Power Graphics Product Last response: October 8, 2012 10:52 PM in Graphics & Displays Share dragonfly22588 October 8, 2012 10:24:39 PM I just got my new system in and I want to make sure I setup the power for my XFX 7950 card correctly. On the card itself there are holes for what appears to be a 6 pin and 8 pin power connector. My PSU http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168... Doesn’t seem to have a separate 8 pin power connector but it has two separate 4 pin connectors. Is it ok to combine both of those together into the 8 pin slot? It’s strange because the outside of the XFX box says it requires two 6 pin connectors but the card has a 6 and 8 and the manual not to use any cable splitters, etc. More about : xfx 7950 power connection Embra a b U Graphics card October 8, 2012 10:26:43 PM Should have a 6+2 (which =8) connector. ko888 a c 332 U Graphics card October 8, 2012 10:52:13 PM The Antec BP550 Plus comes with one 6+2 pin PCI-E power connector that look like the following: Quote:Doesn’t seem to have a separate 8 pin power connector but it has two separate 4 pin connectors.
