In honor of Eden and all other lost souls out there, I though I'd start my own column.

Tip of the Day:
Never let your Texas born father speak to the Canadian border guards. (who have had their sense of humor about guns and liquor surgcally removed).

If an argument can't be settled in one or two paragraphs, perhaps you're anal and should just let it go...

Never bring a gun into Canada we think they are drinking straws and don't trust them unless we get them with our food order at Wendy's.

We export terrorists but only because they come to our country saying their life is threatened back in their own Country so we offer them a free taxi-cab 25 grand extra in start-up money free entry into Adult High School and low rent in a city Living house that proly has 3 floors and 1 and a half bathrooms.

After they get all fat and healthy and have all their relatives join them in Canada they take the Taxi sign off the Cab and drive it into the US and go looking for targets of opportunity.

Well...it all started when I got the 'bright' idea to take my visiting parents to Niagra0-on-the-Lake for a day (which is in Ontario). When we got to the border checkpoint the offiser asks me, "What is you citizenship?" Just as I'm about to to say "US" my day leans over and shouts "Texas!". I could tell that the guy wasn't amused and I guess my father does too because he follows up with "Aw, don't worry officer, we left all our guns and liquor at home"....

Zippy's customs officer tip.

It doesn't matter if it is a Canadian or American Customs Officer. Never joke about Bombs, Firearms, Alcohol and Tobacco while crossing the border. Unless you have lots of spare time and like being searched.

Btw, it's <b>Wiener</b> Schnitzel, dh, and of course its from Vienna as Wien is the actual name of that city (as its inhabitants speak german, well, some dialect of it anyways).
