most likely.
although considering the cards small bandwidth, how low end it is,et al the bottleneck should not make too much difference.
It's better for gaming/or anything to have more than one core, quad cores are recommended, dual cores bottleneck somewhat, single core processors, depending on how good they are will bottleneck severely a majority of the time.

make sure that you have windows vista or 7 though because windows xp can't use directX 10 or 11.

also the gtx 465 is on sale right now for $105,I'd highly recommend it over the gtx 650.

the benchmark above compares the two cards performance.

also some of the pentium's can be upgraded to pentium dual cores or core 2 duo's which would be significantly better, try looking into that.

the pentium dual core is a different story altogether.
whereas pentium has one core,or one core with HT,pentium dual core has two physical cores.
the e5700 is pretty decent, not ideal but decent still for gaming.
since you said £ I'm assuming your in the UK.
I'd recommend the gtx 580

although for 1600x900 it's probably overkill

don't buy a 580. Get a cheaper card like the 560SE and it should complement your cpu more. Even clocked that high, the E5700 isn't going to be giving enough performance so the 580 is a waste. The 650 also isn't a good card, you should look at a 460 or a 560 for better performance.

I say the gtx 580.
yeah it'll bottleneck around the 560 ti 448 even if he overclocks it a bit.
but the gtx 580 can stay with him for a long time, the same isn't true of the 560 ti.
also the 560 ti and the 580 are similarly priced in the UK.

£179.47 for the 560 ti.
the cheapest one by the way
http://www.scan.co.uk/products/1gb-pov-tgt-gtx-560-ti-beast-40nm-4224mhz-gddr5-gpu-954mhz-shader-1908mhz-384-cores
£205.31 for the 580.

for a £20 difference and double the performance, which is worth more?
even though it'll bottleneck, the card will stay usable longer, and it's very closely priced, for much better performance.
