More about first build gaming verify things
  1. hi mate just check with asus webstie for the motherboard memory Qualified Vendor List and check corsair site to see if the ram will work with your motherboard

if so then your good to go

    asus site

    Corsair site

    i hope this help you
  2. You bought laptop RAM instead of desktop RAM, so it wont fit or work. Also that PSU you picked out is garbage. The PSU is the most essential part of your system, you dont want to get the cheapest thing you can find.
  3. I didn't buy any of the things yet, I changed the RAM to Corsair Vengeance 8GB for desktop. Does anybody have a suggestion for a PSU I need under $40 please(at least 400 watts).
  4. antec vp-450w : http://us.ncix.com/products/?sku=62331&vpn=VP450&manufacture=Antec

Will be much more better than that crappy coolmax and safer.
  5. Thank you, now with all of the stuff I changed will the computer be able to run correctly?

PSU = Power Supply. Get something like this..

  7. The antec vp-450 will do fine for a 7770, 7850, 660 gtx no problem, and its cheaper and has great quality build.
  8. Thanks for all the help, this is my first build. After getting an operating system will this computer run?
  9. If you do the steps correctly when mounting every component, yes.
  10. Thanks, I finally got this build to work and still be under $800. Thanks for all the help again guys. :D
