nVidia 630 GT EVGA Brand
nVidia 640 GT EVGA Brand
I'm not exactly sure which one would be better overall.
The 630 has a much higher Effective Memory Clock, but 1 GB of memory and way fewer Cuda Cores. Also a lower Core Clock.
The 640 is a DDR3 and not GDDR5 and I can't tell what the Shader Clock is.
What would be the realistic difference?
I'm just curious. Help!?

depends what you're using it for. assuming that this is for low res gaming, at low-medium setting then the 640 would be more preferable. however for that price range, you're better off with a 7750

nvidia replaced the 640 with the 650 video card..for low end gaming card. the 640/630 are mostly for low powered dell and hp systems. today nvidia should be dropping info on the 650 ti line of cards.
