I5 w/fast SSD Verses i7 w/ slower SSD which is better?

So I have a question about the benefit of a i5 processor to an i7 one.. IF the i7 has a slower SSD then the i5 wouldnt it be better to stick with the i5 and save the $$$ ? Or is there really that big of a difference... the ultrabook in mind is:
i5 ---> Samsung Series 9 NP900X4C-A01US 15.0-Inch Ivy Bridge Ultrabook $1164.00

I kind of get the idea that i should go with the i5 and in the future upgrade to a faster SSD like an Samsung 830

Anyways its not that my budget cant do the i7.. i am just wondering if i did do the i7.. i dont think i could swing the upgrade SSD...
So it comes down to.. are the stock Samsung 9's comparable speed wise considering the combination of processor to SSD
i5 with a fast SSD
and the
i7 with a slower SSD
What do you think?

I would stick with the i5. You have to watch our for the mobile CPU's because the same logic for desktop CPU's doesn't really apply. Both the i5 and i7 mentioned are dual core with hyper threading. The i7 has a little more cache and the GPU core runs slightly faster. So it isn't like you are getting a quad core over a dual core, or something like that.
Also, I am not sure where you are getting the faster or slower SSD information from. They would both perform pretty much on par with one another. The 256GB may perform a little better in test, but in a real world scenario they will both pretty much be the same. I don't think it justifies the cost between the two laptops. The i5 is also marked down $235.00 from it's original retail price, which makes it a better value.
