Radeon HD 5670 probzz

Hello,
I recently bought a powercolor radeon 5670 from flipkart.com
This is my first graphic card.I placed it in the pci x16 slot and I plugged vga of monitor into graphic card, i got no display in the monitor.But when i plugged the vga in my system slot it worked. Dono Wat to do. Pls help me.
My system specs are
Intel Core2Duo e7500 2.93ghz
Windows 7 ultimate 32 bit
500 gb hdd
2 gb ram
asus p5g41lt-mlx3 motherboard
Zebronics 450w psu....http://www.zebronics.com/products/deluxe-series/zeb-450w-value-plus....

The graphic card has one 6 pin connector slot from psu. But i don hav 6 pin connector in my psu instead i hav Peripheral 4 pin connector
x2....Shud i connect power supply but many say it doesnt require 6 pin connector...pls guide me...Dono wato do...

If you have VGA output on your motherboard, you may have to disable it in BIOS. As I understand, your M/B is not auto-switching to add-on gfx card.

Disable on-board gfx card in BIOS first. If you still have problems with your motherboard recognizing gfx card, then your motherboard may not support Radeon HD5670. You may need a BIOS update.

Normally, your card should not need separate 6-pin power connector. If there is a plug on it, you better use one. But your current problem is not with the separate power connector. You may need it if you push your gfx card by playing difficult games on it.
