MS Producer fails with 'old C-media driver' error. Try
latest driver, no better. Try on-board chip instead of
sound card - but that uses C-media chip as well. Same
prob. In desparation buy Soundblaster card and remove C-
media card and disable on-board chip. STILL gails with
same error - tho C-media no longer figures in dev. manager.
Find LOTS of references to C-media in registry, but no way
to delete them safely. Tried Regclean and other registry
clearers but they don't show C-media references as
unrequired, so can't delete them.
Apart from reloading XP, got any ideas as to how I can get
rid of C-media off this box?
