I want to buy a 3D monitor, looking at the BenQ XL2420T.
Now to use the monitor as normal (60hz) im aware that i can use any of the inputs, VGA, DVI(any) and HDMI

But what about when i want to go 3D/3D Gaming. At the moment, i have a DVI-D(Single Link) cable.
Is it best to use a DVI-D(Single Link) or DVI-D(Dual Link)?
Is there a difference between them?- The refresh rate(Hz) and picture quality?
OR is DVI-I better than DVI-D?
Difference betweem them?

How about HDMI? What do i need to know about using HDMI for 3D?- I read somewhere that it has to be like HDMI-1a or something?

I guess this might be a bit late but I think there have been websites about it.

I know that there was a difference between DVI-I and DVI-D that one of them, I think it's the DVI-D, that can only have Digital signal going through it - meaning that DVI-D can't handle VGA.

With that in mind it was probably built to take up bigger frequencies? To get rid of the analog signal they've replaced it with better connection for DVI or something? I'm just guessing but as far as I see it, it might be that DVI-D is better for Higher frequencies and therefor better quality/refreshrate for DVI. DVI-I is for VGA and Digital.
