I was wondering if anyone would be willing to set up an online bracket tourney for THGC members. I'd like to do one, but I don't have the time to set it up. Any volunteers out there? (and I don't mean Tennessee)

I'm a fantasy sports junkie, btw. I play every free game, and a couple of pay ones, on Yahoo and ESPN.

Yes, even horse racing and bass fishing. :redface:

Generally, ya put together a league (some of em need 8-12 teams; some it doesn't matter) and each team drafts players from the real pro teams. Then ya get points based on how they perform in the current season, and compete against the other teams in your league.

There's fantasy football, baseball, basketball, hockey, NASCAR, etc, etc.

There are also games where you try to pick the winners of the games, like NFL pick em, March Madness pick em, horse racing pick em, etc.

Most of the ESPN/Yahoo games are US sports stuff, except hockey, which involves the Canadian teams in the NHL, of course.

HEY! Speaking of Horse Racing, went to Brunswick Zone with Wifey and a few other couples. They had this four person horse racing simulation, and it was FOCKIN AWESOME!!! You picked your horse's mother and father, then you get a horse. You then do training excercises before each race (don't do the water one!!! :eek: ) and then you race... Too much whip, horse tires out. Not enough and you don't win... Then it gives you a card with your horses name and infor and when you find another one of these giant doohickeys, you stick your card in and continue! It was a blast, but it was $2 per game, so $20 goes quick! But it was fun!!
